- Basic information
CHARACTERISTICS
- FORTIMO™ 1,4-H6XDI has a compact, and highly symmetrical structure which forms a well-organized hard segment phase by reaction with chain extender, such as 1,4-burandiol.
- Polyurethane based on FORTIMO™ 1,4-H6XDI achieve elasticity, heat resistance and light stability which was not able to be realized with the conventional diisocyanate.
- Thermosetting polyurethane (TSU) shows improved flexural fatigue properties with good stability of the prepolymer.
- Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) shows superior excellent resilience, compression set and shorter demold time at injection molding.
